G'day mate. What are you up to? Today, I'm gonna be diving into how to deal with the situation of facing some kind of interjection during conversation. It depends on a person, right? But, you might have encountered this sort of situation. You don't wanna be distracted, right? Let's talk about it.

If you talk to someone like a real dialogue by looking this guy in the eye all the time, then you'll probably feel stressful sometimes. Why? Because, you want this guy to listen and understand what you wanna say. However, not always people are trying to listen to you, because sometimes they interject odd questions or something before you finish talking. This is frustrating, isn't it? How can we deal with this?

Simply, what you can do is to like talk to yourself as if no one was there. So, you could just continue to talk without looking the guy in the eye, that is, no eye contact involved. Someone says this is rude, but not really in fact, depending upon circumstances. If it's an informal situation, then there's nothing wrong with you. At least, you wanna convey your feelings and things to your listener, right? Don't worry too much about eye contact. If you don't do eye contact all the time, then your listener won't probably interrupt you, or specifically it's gonna be difficult for the guy to find timing to interject. You know what I mean? So, you just keep talking and talking without worrying about the listener's eyes. If it's a formal-setting conversation, by contrast, then definitely your eye contact, ways of saying, the use of vocabulary, enunciation as well as body language are all indispensable, and of course your listener also won't interject until you complete your talk.

All in all, how can we wrestle with the situation where people are trying to interject before you finish talking? Well, the best method is to keep talking and talking without looking at your listener's eyes. If you do eye contact, then your listener will probably have a chance to interject in the middle of your talk. To avoid the situation, playing like a soliloquy during a conversation is the best methodology to defeat any interjection.
